ClubHouse Online Integration Options
There are several server and network configurations that the ClubHouse Online Integration supports.
All the following configurations are supported and it’s up to you and your IT to decide on which configuration works best for your club’s security concerns and budget.
Clubhouse Online websites are hosted on ClubHouse Online Web Servers and are hosted in the United States (not locally at the club).
This is just a high-level overview of the available options, and we won’t cover server specifications or setup steps. Once you have selected the option you would like to go with you will be provided with that information. If you have any questions, please contact your Project Coordinator.
In this configuration we would send traffic from our servers through your firewall to the Club (Back Office - Jonas/Encore/csg) Server directly. This server would then also house the SQL database that the integration uses. This makes the Club Server the only server in charge of the integration.
*If you are using the club server as the network’s Domain Controller (or Active Directory) we strongly recommend not using this configuration.

Two Server Setup *Recommend*
This configuration has an extra layer of security by placing an integration server that facilitates communication between the ClubHouse Online Web Servers and the Club (Back Office - Jonas/Encore/CSG) Server itself. If your network were to be breached, then this would be the first server accessed and does not hold any member information on it since only certain ports are opened between the two servers, and information is only passing through the integration server. Also, in this scenario the SQL database for ClubHouse Online would be housed on the club's server.

This configuration works much like the two-server setup, but the only difference is that the SQL is housed on a different server on the network. This puts another barrier between intruders and information in your SQL databases. However, the ClubHouse Online database does not store any vital member data, it simply acts as a go between for the integration between the Club (Jonas/Encore/CSG) Server and the ClubHouse Online Web Servers. For this reason, most clubs find this level unneeded for them especially if they are only using SQL for the ClubHouse online interface. If your club uses SQL databases to store other data, this might be a good option for you.
